3D Portrait of an Old Uigur Man. The surface has been built out of a recycled carboard box and cardboard tubes. The curvature of the base creates a distorsion of the image as we move our point of view. The Uigur are a muslim minority that live within the bordeers of China. They re being subject to repression and destruction of their culture by the Chinese government. This portrait is part of a series of works depicting people suffering mental health problems.
