 3d Portrait of Afghan Women wearing Burkas and a girl  Wearing the Niqab. Acrylic on Cardboard and Recycled Plastic Bottles. Painted in April 2023 to draw attention to the erosion of women's rights in Afghanistan since the Americasn withdrawl in August 2021 and the return to power of the Taliban. The women are reduced to objects while the girl is looking at the viewer unable to comprehend the situation.

The irregularity  of the surface distortes the image and adds drammatism to the scene.
